Because folks are looking at their smartphones and reading and walking and chewing bubblegum at the same time, they run into environmental disasters like airplane propellers. Enter MegaReader iPhone eBook reader's Walk n'Read HUD (Heads Up Display, for those of you who not all cool and stuff). As seen in the above pic, the reader uses the Iphone's back facing camera to project an image of what is in front of you behind the text on the screen. A novel approach that has been used before, like when my sister used to cut out pictures in her favorite magazines. She said it was to make a cool New Kids on the Block collage, but I know it was because she was always tripping over the cat. Now to think on it, which is more embarrassing?
